Topless Terror Night/Mod Squad Bash Takes to Bluegrass Speedway June 26

Bardstown, KY-June 20, 2010- Bluegrass Speedway track promoters David and Anita Ferrell will present a double of sorts this Saturday evening June 26 at the ½ mile, high-banked Nelson County clay oval as it will be the 7th Annual Topless Terror Night for 44 Auto Mart Super Late Models and the 10th Annual Mod Squad Bash for the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner.

On Saturday June 26, the 44 Auto Mart Super Late Models will compete in the 7th Annual Topless Terror Night that will see the full-fendered, ground-pounding Super Late Model division race with the roofs removed from the race cars in a 25 lap, $1,000 to win main event. Also on the June 26 racing program will be the 10th Annual Mod Squad Bash for the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner in a full program of practice, time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win 10th Annual Mod Squad Bash A-Main for UMP Modifieds. Of note as well, anyone with rainchecks and pit pass armbands from the AMS event that was scheduled for Bluegrass Speedway and rained out on May 15 can use those at this event. Rounding out the racing card on June 26 will be the WBRT 1320-AM UMP Sportsman for $200 to win, while the UMP Street Stocks have the night off. For the June 26 racing event, the Super Late Model and UMP Modified divisions will time trial, while the WBRT 1320-AM UMP Sportsman will pill draw for heat race starting assignments.

Activities for the June 26 racing program will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m., with the general admission area opening at 5:00 p.m. A mandatory drivers meeting will take place at 6:00 p.m. Practice will begin at 6:30 p.m., with time trials at 7:00 p.m., followed green flag race action at or before 8:00 p.m. All times are EDT. Ticket prices on June 26 will be $15 for adults, $8 for children ages 6 to 12, and children under age 6 free in the general admission area. A pit pass will cost $30.

Bluegrass Speedway last raced on June 19 and feature event winners included Aaron Hatton of Mount Sterling, KY in 44 Auto Mart Super Late Models, Jason Wheatley of Loretto, KY in UMP Modifieds, and Shane Lafollette of Hodgenville, KY in UMP Street Stocks.

Bluegrass Speedway is located at 2221 New Haven Road at the intersection of Kentucky Highway 31-E and exit 21 of the Martha Layne Collins (Bluegrass) Parkway.
