TULSA, Okla. (May 20, 2014) - The best way we know to honor those we loved in racing, is to race in their honor and once again, drivers and fans will pay tribute to Jesse Hockett on Sunday, May 25 at the Double X Speedway in California, Mo. with the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region.
In three visits to the Double X Speedway in 2013, Jonathan Cornell topped the field twice, first on May 26 then on July 5 and is the defending champion of the tribute to Jesse Hockett. Jay Russell stood atop the podium on July 28. Randy Hibbs carries the points lead into the Sunday showdown with a 40 point advantage over Jay Russell. Third is held by J.R. Topper with Michael Sosebee and Danny Lasoski making up the top five.
