Triple Track Points????

The Original Q
I haven't been watching the board too closely so this may have already been discussed. I was wondering if there was any discussion about the possiblity of a Triple Track Points Fund considering that Tri-City will be running Sundays? I think that Godfrey and Tri-City did something similar to this last year with both tracks and wondered if I-55 or another Saturday track would be added to the mix for a Triple Track deal. Just curious.

A triple track championship would make more sense for Godfrey, Highland and Tri City or Brownstown (if they would add late models) Highland and Tri City or Belleville, Highland and Tri City.

As I-55 is in that other state, also the tracks in IL are more similar to each other than I-55.

Yeah, I-55 is much better than those IL tracks isn't it? LOL!!!! Not to mention that I-55 isn't quite as round as the tracks in IL. LOL!!!!

I understand you saying that I-55 is in Missouri, but keep in mind that a large majority of the drivers that frequently run there are from Illinois. I also think that Godfrey and I-55 shared many of the same drivers last year. And the points shared by Godfrey and TCS last year were for non-UMP classes. And given that Gundaker has been an I-55 mainstay for the last several years, I could only imagine that Godfrey, I-55, and TCS would be the logical choices for a triple track points race. Just my semi-educated guess.

I may be wrong but the last time there was something like this wasn't there two tracks from Missouri and one from Illinois?

Allied used to be at St. Charles years ago not sure if they were triple track points. Godfery, 55 and St. Charles did the triple track thing in 93.

Allied Had Too Many Rule Differences In The Sportsman And (no Bomber Type Cars) Street Stock Classes To Do That. The Tracks Would Have To Be The Exact Same On Their Rules Like Godfrey And Tri-city Were Last Year And This Comming Year.... Highland Would Be Closest To A Match But B-town Would Be A Good Friday Night Track. Or Add Greenville(6 Or So Races On Sat.) In For A Few Races And Selected Nights From The Other Two Tracks And See What Happens......mabey 6 Nights At Each Track Or Something Like That???

Allied Had Belleville, I55 And St. Charles Back In The Day. But Yes, The Triple Track Dirthound Mentioned That Mike Null Ran Was Godfrey, I55 And St. Charles. Back When Allied Lost I55 For A While.

I Agree With Rudy Pu. Allied rules Are Not In Line Enough To Be Considered In A Triple Track Points deal.
