With the season quickly approaching, Eric Turner is excited to announce his plans for 2013. This year he will be behind the wheel of the Pannell Chipping, Lucas Oil Products, Don Babb Motorsports #99T. Turner will be competing for the championship with the Lucas Oil MLRA tour. "This is like a dream scenario for me," commented Turner. "We've put together a small group of people who are extremely special to me, and we're looking to win the Lucas Oil MLRA title. I couldn't ask to have better people behind our program. We have all of our ducks in a row. I am ready to go and race as hard as I ever have."
The past few years Turner has been behind the wheel of a Rocket Chassis, but is making the switch to a newly designed Moyer Victory Circle Race Car for the coming season. "Since Billy has come out with these cars, I have wanted to race one," said Turner. "Their record and performance speaks for itself. I don't think there is a better car out there, and to have the support of the most talented Dirt Late Model racer ever is huge."
Turner is plotting twenty-one events on the Lucas Oil MLRA schedule along with two visits to Batesville Motor Speedway, for the Bad Boy 98 and Topless 100. He also plans to compete in the Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals in Knoxville, IA. "This schedule will allow me some balance between my other work obligations and racing," according to Turner. "It's the perfect number of events for our team. It will allow me make certain that our equipment is always properly prepared and ready, every time we hit the track."
