Godfrey, IL (March 16, 2006) Godfrey Speedway in Godfrey, IL kicks off their 2006 racing season this Saturday, March 18th. UMP's two premier divisions take to the track for this special event. The UMP Super Late Models will be competing for a $2,000 top prize while the UMP Modifieds will be going after a $1,000 top prize. These are the only two divisions that will be in competition for this event.
Gates will open at 2pm with hotlaps beginning at 3:30pm. Qualifying will get underway at 4pm with the racing action beginning immediately afterwards. Grandstand admission is only $14 and pit admission will be $30.
