Malden, MO - Saturday night March 20th the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by Goodyear and the USCS Mid-South Thunder Tour kick off the 2010 season for both when Malden Speedway in Malden, MO hosts the USCS (www.uscsracing.com). The event will pay $2000 to win and it is possible for one driver to win $2200 by winning the Goodyear Speed Dash, heat race and A-feature.
This event is part of Malden Speedway's March 19th and 20th, 4th annual "Bootheel 200" event. Entries are expected from at least six states for the first of 54 nights for the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour National points chasers.
The race also kicks off competition for the USCS Mid-South Thunder regional Championship schedule of 28 events.
The USCS sprint cars will run their complete program during Saturday's portion of the the two-day event that features lots of side by side racing in seven divisions including the USCS winged sprint cars, USCS Modified Touring Series, Malden's Crate Late Models, Hobby Stock, Street Stock, E-MOD and Mini Stock classes. In total there are over 200 laps of Championship main events.
The USCS sprint car drivers and teams will also have a pre-season practice opportunity at Malden Speedway on Friday night, March 19th. The practice session is scheduled to make time available for the sprint car drivers three times during the Friday evening pole-qualifying rounds for the other six divisions.
The event will feature a USCS double-header including a $2000 to win the 30-lap USCS Modified Touring Series "Bootheel 200 "Championship A-Main. With posted bonuses, $2200 is possible to win in the USCS Modified division.
Goodyear Racing sprint car tires and methanol will be available at the speedway both nights.
