Kevin Montgomery TUCSON, Ariz. (April 4th, 2011) - The Arizona Pipe Trades Local 469 will join USA Raceway as the USRA Western Modifieds return to action this Saturday night at the Southwest Center of Speed.

The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry Local #469 in Phoenix, has a long and proud history that goes back more than 100 years. The Plumbers and Pipefitters of Local 469 are vital to many industries throughout Arizona and it's because of a highly skilled workforce of more than 2,000 members.

While The New Mexico Mafia visited the happiest place on Earth, RC Whitwell was busy making his crew happy as he snaked the field at the last Modified outing winning his second 25-Lap feature of the 2011 season.

Whitwell, seemingly unstoppable, will have to hold off a mass of Modified Journeyman all trying to unclog his winning ways. The plunge will be led by the Texan, Christy Georges, as she teams up with Rick Spencer, Chad Ayers, Carl Trimmer and Dana Fite all looking to grab the hardware as guest of Arizona Pipe Trades look on.

The cast of New Mexico Modified Aces will be on a Monorail headed for Tomorrow Land with nothing more than winning on the agenda as they are expected to be back in action this weekend.

The battle will wage this Saturday night as Arizona Pipe Trades Local 469 presents the USRA Western Modifieds along with the UniFirst Super Stocks, Hornets and the Debut of The Western States Stock Car Series. Racing action begins when general admission tickets go on sale at 4pm for only $12, racing will begin promptly at 6:45pm.
