Who would like to have a mechanics race at belleville

Why doesn't belleville have the mechanics race or the officials race any more?
 
Don't know how Stan and Tom feel about it but most racetrack insurers don't like it and discourage it.

Yes, there are tracks still doing it but it's "risky business".

I have the red #66 bomber ready for Bellevelle and will be there Fri. Jimmy, If you want to drive a bomber in mech. race(If they have one) come on down! I will let you drive it. I might have to take of the 2x4s of the pedals for ya! Danny Hessenauer
 
I think it would be fun. It would help shut by brothers trap about how I should drive! LOL

TTG, how would this be any "riskier" than just having them show up to race? There isn't any kind of test to pass before jumping into any car that I know of.

My only problem is they ALL want to drive!! I vote lets go for it and let the crew who work all year have some FUN!!! Big Daddy
 
anybody got a driver with legs? I can't drive his car in a race his legs are too short. I barley fit in it now. BTW thanks BEEP BEEP for the help friday :)

Al, maybe you should check with Scott, he's pretty tall.

Big Daddy, maybe they can stop the race every couple laps and do a driver change.
