TULSA, Okla. - Race fans who are unable to attend this year's 17th Annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals … fear not!

Whowon.com -- The Internet Source for Motorsports News and Information -- will present live flag-to-flag coverage of all four days of action from the Tulsa (Okla.) Expo Raceway, Jan. 8-11. Whowon.com is a part of the RaceFan, Inc. internet news service.

Founded in 1987 by American Sprint Car Series boss Emmett Hahn and Devil's Bowl Speedway promoter Lanny Edwards, the Chili Bowl has evolved into one of auto racing's most prestigious and anticipated events, and has attracted more than 200 midget racers for this year's contest.

Defending race winner and NASCAR Winston Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart heads the list of favorites, along with four-time winner Sammy Swindell -- the only driver to win the Chili Bowl more than once. Other past winners penciled in to vie for a repeat victory include SCRA sprint car star Cory Kruseman, USAC standout Jay Drake and Badger warriors Dan Boorse, Johnny Heydenreich and Scott Hatton.

Race fans can check out the live webcast from the Chili Bowl by visiting http://www.whowon.com/chilibowl on the World Wide Web. Regular updates throughout the day will keep you posted on the behind-the-scenes festivities and news, while the live race webcast will let you follow the action as it happens on the track.

In addition to providing the most complete coverage of daily motorsports news and information on the Internet, Whowon.com and the RaceFan Network have brought many other webcasts of popular short track events to online fans, including the Belleville Midget Nationals, The Million, and the IMCA Super Nationals.
