BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (May 29-30, 2004) The annual Memorial Day weekend show at Big River Sand Drags is traditionally one of the biggest and best shows of the year and the 2004 version lived up to it's past reputation. One of the highlights of the event was adding Todd Dee of Leadwood and Terry Wies of Wentzville to the track's "Wall of Fame." Both me have been extremely important to the track growth and existence over the past 20+ years.
In racing action on Saturday, Ralph Smith of Mineral Point was the top eliminator and first place winner of the Stock Buggy class with Kevin "Grape Ape" Sellars of Arnold taking second place.
In Off Road Modified, Todd Dee added another accomplishment to his night by winning both top eliminator and first place honors. James Womble settled for second place.
In Open 4x4, Tim Griffin was the first place and top eliminator winner with Chris Mackley of Bonne Terre taking second place.
In Competition Eliminator, Brad Lunn of Pacific was the top eliminator and first place winner with Steve Barton of Bonne Terre second.
In Super Pro ATV, Jason Waller of Bonne Terre was the top eliminator and first place winner while Bob Tuttle settled for second place.
In Pro ATV, Jason Fauller was the top eliminator and first place winner while Tanya Cunningham was second.
In ATV-1, Allie Glatczak of Potosi was the first place winner with Lindsey Hayes of Pilot Knob taking second place and top eliminator.
In Junior ATV, Andrew Zack of High Ridge was the first place winner with Kayle Dickens of Bonne Terre taking second place and top eliminator.
In racing on Sunday, Chris Schmidt of Arnold was the top eliminator and first place winner in the Super Pro ATV class. Kyle Bates of Festus was second.
In Pro ATV, Richard Finney of St. Louis was the top eliminator and first place winner with Bobby Cunningham of Hartford, Ill. taking second place.
In ATV-1, Sarah Lunn of Pacific was the first place winner with Curtis Friedmann of Festus taking second place and top eliminator.
In Junior ATV, Andrew Zack was the top eliminator and first place winner with Whitney Dee of Leadwood taking second place.
In Open 4x4, Dustin Griffin of Camp Point, Ill. was the top eliminator and first place winner with Phil Mosier of Bonne Terre taking second place.
In Competition Eliminator, John Dreher of Wentzville was the first place winner with David Mallow of Bonne Terre taking second place and top eliminator.
