Inside Line Promotions - SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (Sept. 2, 2013) - It doesn't take Craig Dollansky long to get to Deer Creek Speedway or around it.

The ultra-fast, high-banked track is located approximately two and a half hours south of his hometown of Elk River. It also hosts the final World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series race in the state of Minnesota on Saturday, Sept. 14, for the Asgrow/DeKalb Clash at the Creek.

"It's always good to race close to home," Dollansky said.

He took advantage last year by picking up the win in the Asgrow/DeKalb Clash at the Creek, which was easier said than done. Dollansky had to fend off Hard Charger Donny Schatz, who had rallied from 17th to take the lead at the white flag. However, Dollansky hit his marks effectively during the final lap to become the third different World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series winner at Deer Creek Speedway.

"Last year it was a great win for our team and I'm definitely looking forward to going back again," Dollansky said. "It's a pretty racy track. They work pretty hard at the track preparation."

Joey Saldana claimed the first two events in 2009-10 with 20-time series champion Steve Kinser winning in 2011.
