World 100 Champion Billy Moyer & First Lady to Make World 100 History April Farmer to run the Dodge

Pontoon Beach, IL (September 15, 2010) The Dodge Ram 50 featuring UMP DIRTcar Late Models paying $7,000 to the winner will roar around the Tri-City Speedway 3/8 mile dirt oval on Friday, September 17th. Coming off his sixth World 100 win, Billy Moyer leads a stellar field of cars that are expected to compete. Joining Moyer will be the first lady to ever win a race at the famed Eldora Speedway, April Farmer as she makes her first ever appearance at Tri-City Speedway. Other drivers that have indicated they plan to attend are Rick Eckert, Tim McCreadie, Shannon Babb, Wendall Wallace, Billy Moyer, Jr., Brian Shirley, Brady Smith, Jimmy Mars, Bub McCool, Jason Feger, Ryan Unzicker and many more.

Also joining the field will be the UMP DIRTcar Modified division in which NASCAR veteran Kenny Wallace is expected to compete in. Many top modified drivers from around the Midwest should be on hand for the $1,500 to win main event. The UMP DIRTcar Pro Late Models will also be on hand competing for $700 to win. Scott Weber and Bobby Pierce battle it down to the wire for the UMP DIRTcar Pro Late Model National Championship!

Pit gates will open at 3pm and the grandstand gates will open at 5pm. Pill draw closes at 6:15pm with hotlaps immediately following the 6pm drivers meeting. Late Models will qualify at 7pm with racing at 7:30pm. Grandstand admission is $25 with kids 12 years and younger admitted free. Pit passes will be $35 with pit passes for those 12 years old and younger $10.
