World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Return to Missouri State Fair Speedway Wednesday, June 16!

Wednesday night, June 16 will mark the return of the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars to the ‘Historic Half Mile’ that is Missouri State Fair Speedway. The countdown is on for the “Kasey’s King of Sedalia” presented by Budweiser World of Outlaws Sprint Car event, the third round of the Showdown for the Bud Crown. Star NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne, who is co-promoting the event in association with the World Racing Group, will also compete.

Advanced reserved seats are $29 for adults and $9 for children twelve years and under. Children under six are admitted free in General Admission seating. Adult seats increase to $35 day of show – regardless of section. To purchase tickets visit www.worldofoutlaws.com/tickets or call (704) 795-7223. Same-day tickets are available at the Missouri State Fair Speedway ticket office. The special night of racing also features a spectacular one-of-a-kind concert-style fireworks and pyrotechnic display. Pit gates will open at 1 p.m., spectator gates will open at 5 p.m. Hot laps begin at 7 p.m. followed by World of outlaws Time Trials. All times are approximate and subject to change.

The W-K Chevrolet Modifieds will be the support class for the World of Outlaws Sprint cars. There are no separate entry fees for modified drivers competing on Wednesday night. All pit passes for June 16 are $35 for DIRTcar Members and $40 for non-members. Please note that pit passes do not guarantee a seat in the front-stretch grandstand.

The next event at the speedway after this week’s special event will take place on Friday, June 25 featuring the cars and stars of the MLRA and MARS series competing in a co-sanctioned event. Street Stocks will be along as the support class and will compete for $600 to win. There is no entry fee for the street stocks. MLRA and MARS late model competitors will comply with their respective series rules and entries. All pit passes for June 25 will be $30.
