Concord, NC-June 14, 2010- The World Racing Group and the World of Outlaws family is saddened at the loss of Randy Hannagan's brother Terry, who passed away on Monday in San Jose, California.

Terry was passionate about Sprint Car racing and his family. He channeled his love for both into working with his brother Randy, who has raced around the country with the World of Outlaws and several other tours. Randy was named the 1995 Rookie of the Year with the World of Outlaws driving for Terry Hannagan Racing.

Terry raced karts with Randy and their other brother Jimmy back in the early 1980's in their home state of California, trading off driving duties and honing their mechanical skills, along with learning the intricacies of a variety of racing machines. Randy won a couple of Sprint Car track championships at their home track of San Jose Speedway with Terry as the owner.

The pair accomplished a major goal in 2001 when Randy won his first World of Outlaws event at I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri driving a car for Terry. Randy finished in the Top-10 in the World of Outlaws championship standings twice driving for his brother.

Services for Terry Hannagan have yet to be determined and are still pending.
