MONROETON, Pa. (Aug. 8) – Chris Fleming won for the first time in his tour career and banked $1,000 the last time the World Products Empire State Series visited Dunn Hill 2 Speedway.
He’d like nothing more than to add a second trophy to his collection when the IMCA Modified tour returns to Monroeton for another $1,000 to win show on Wednesday, Aug. 10.
National, ButlerBuilt Eastern Region, Allstar Performance State and special series points will be awarded for the 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event.
Pit gates and the grandstand both open at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.
Spectator admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for youngsters five and under. Pit passes are $30 for non-members and $25 for members.

Fleming became the 28th different driver to win an Empire State Series main event back on June 15. Joshua Sawyer and Kevan Cook have also taken tour checkers this season, but more consistent running Eddie Sites has the point lead coming back to his home track.
The next date for the 10th annual tour is Aug. 30 at I-88 Speedway in Afton, N.Y.
