Inside Line Promotions - LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (Jan. 19, 2021) - X-1 Race Cars will have a client as a full-time World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series competitor for the first time ever in 2021 as the official chassis supplier of Rookie of the Year contender Brock Zearfoss.

Zearfoss has been a customer of X-1 Race Cars and owner Ryan Linder since debuting together at the famed Can-Am World Finals in 2019. The 2020 race season saw Zearfoss pick up two victories behind the wheel of an X-1 Race Car when he scored a win during the Open Wheel Nationals at Park Jefferson International Speedway in North Sioux City, S.D., and an Ollie's Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions triumph at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Okla.

"It's a really cool deal to see your hard work pay off and to know my cars are going to be racing against the very best night in and night out," Linder said. "After getting to know Brock and his team over the past years I know they have a great program and I'm proud to have them represent X-1 Race Cars on the Outlaws tour. I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure their rookie year goes smoothly and hopefully they find Victory Lane a time or two."

Looking to build on that success together, Zearfoss is excited to make the jump to a full-fledged Outlaws campaign and he believes that X-1 Race Cars gives him the best opportunity for success on the road.

"We've worked together now for a couple of years and Ryan and his X-1 Race Cars consistently have provided me with great equipment that has allowed me to be competitive every time we hit the track," Zearfoss said. "The Outlaws tour can be vigorous and tough and you need great partners and equipment to make it work on the road. With Ryan's craftsmanship and attention to detail I know we have the very best equipment and I'm looking forward to the upcoming year representing X-1 Race Cars across the country."

More importantly, Zearfoss appreciates that Linder is willing to listen and is open to suggestions on how they can improve the product to better suit his team's needs at any time. Zearfoss said he believes this is something that sets X-1 Race Cars apart and he is hopeful the tweaks they are making can benefit other potential suitors of X-1 Race Cars.

"Ryan is so receptive to my ideas and wants and is always willing to try something different if it means making sure we are happy and feel good behind the wheel of the car," he said. "We're constantly kicking ideas around on how we can maybe get faster and feel safer and that's what makes X-1 Race Cars so special.

"He gives me that freedom as a driver and if it works like we hope, it will not only benefit us as a team, but maybe it helps Ryan sell a few more chassis and we can bring in some more business for him."
