The only way I could see that happening is if the guy in front of you had tires dripping wet and you drove in his tracks. Most of the treatments I have seen evaporate pretty quick. When was the last time anyone ever had a tire finish a race with rubber build up on it?? Not likely.

That guy should give classes on how to prepare a racing surface on dirt. I have never seen a show there that had a dried up slick top to bottom track. Considering the temps and amount of cars and they still had a racy track. Take note track promoters!!

Seems like a simple process to me. Have a new Hoosier LM tire as a baseline. If the suspect tire does not come back the same as the baseline then it has been altered. What is so hard to comprehend about that?? Oh that's right.. he must have drove on the track with somebody else's contaminated...
