agreed the best dirt track announcer ever. he had a way of making us spectators love the races more.

weather looks great. one of the high points of the year is mod mania. too bad nhra decided to change their usual timing but will be there tonight for sure

if work is done don't replace with metal. just go to gateway any time during the summer & you'll see why!!! still by far the best facility in the area & if i had kids would not be a reason not to come. playground they have is top notch.

how was parking, i was worried about. don't go to dome other new car show each year & since attendance times are spread out not a big deal. the weather was sure a bummer. where there a lot of no shows?

rusty-you're right. congrads on a great season yourself & fri was like old times, you & big block battling it out.

would love to been a birdy in the pits with kloos looking for a ride for feature, wouldn't have beat manville anyway, as he close to track record in time trials & nobody close to him. but alteast he would have had a fighting chance of finsihing.

agree fastcat, at work just waiting for 5:00, so can head over. a real high point of racing season. like i said just wish wasn't same weekend as NHRA, so could go to all the shows.

one day away & can hardly wait. just wish that TRI took into account the weekend NHRA is in town, will miss atleast 1 night that would have been there.

air dog couldn't agree with you more & speaking of ray, have a memory couple of years ago at tri where he was involved in a spinout & had to go to end of the pack & came back & won the race. it seemed like whole crowd that night rose as one. gave you goose bumps to be part of.

i just want to give a hats off to the festus flash. us fans knew how good of a mod driver he was but to be in the top 10 LM's is a true accomplishment that he should be very proud of & hope it stays that way till season's end

only thing that would make mod mania better, as always a high point of the racing year, is seeing matt mevert on the track again giving everybody a race. saw him at tri in a bmod winning couple weeks ago. for sure a waste of talent in a bmod. just like big block in a bmod, also a waste of talent.

great racing, thanks again for keeping track going & we better enjoy pierce while we can watch him. got to be looking to bigger things. & great track prep by kirk b, if anybody can keep a track racey it;s him of courses he's had a lot of practice.
