What does I-55, Highland, Tri-City, Belle-Clair and other local dirt tracks have planned during the off season for track improvements, and are there any surprises to look for next year, schedule wise?

News has been awfully quiet, except for announcing a few special shows. Are they doing any improvements to the track and facility, or is there anything else coming down the pike that we can expect?

For anyone going to the Smackdown in Kokomo, Indiana, call ahead. Kokomo has just been hit by a large tornado.

Since everyone is always so quick to bash a track when the racing isn't good, I'd like to flip that frown upside-down and say: WAY TO GO I-55!!!! Great racing, good car counts, and a decent crowd on hand as well.

I am going to the Geico 500 this year at Talladega Superspeedway. I was told that parking opens at 5am on race day. How quickly does it fill up?

Heard second-hand from a person that I know that Dirthound told him that several drivers decided not to go to Pevely because they were upset with the shock package that Bobby Pierce was running. Supposedly computer controlled shocks. I call BS on this, but maybe the Hound can clear this up?

With the Ironman 55 being a two day show again, is I-55 Raceway going to allow in some special food vendors, etc. that other tracks let in to sell stuff not normally offered, like turkey legs, ribeye sandwiches, and pork tenderloins?
