Amazing how far the cars have evolved along with the safety. Wow open faced helmets, no firesuits, glass windshields...very cool to see what it was like then and how far it's come today! Nice video!

When i started racing pevely i told Mike i needed a nickname.....two weeks later i was "The Digger" Derek Shipman. What an honor to have a nickname come from him. He was the best hands down. RIP TTG!
