won my first feature in 73 there in the b mod class,,yup,they had a and b mods back then,,we ran our bellville hobby cars,mostly 55 to 57 chevys n fords,,started on the front row outside,dennis sellers started on the pole,,dont remember how much i won but bernells buddy spanky took me to broadway bar to celabrate,,got so loaded i could not drive home,,,boy them were the days...
 
Amazing how far the cars have evolved along with the safety. Wow open faced helmets, no firesuits, glass windshields...very cool to see what it was like then and how far it's come today! Nice video!
 
The B-Class was called Cadets,Dennis Sellers got his first Championship in that class...Also,does anyone know what that banner says on the fence behind Roger Fohne in that victory photo?..;);)
 
YA,CADETS,,been 40 years,my memory aint what it used to be,,the night i won in that class was the night the allied flag man,,leo ledendecker ?? ran out of gas on his way home n got killed on the interstate..
