‘dirt Nation’ Takes A Holiday Break, Plans For ‘04

Saluda, VA --- DIRT NATION, one of the fastest growing and most popular weekly racing radio programs broadcast over the world wide web will be taking a holiday break. Dirt Nation which can also be heard on its host radio station, “The Outlaw” 1490 AM, will be taking the next couple weeks off due to the host radio station changing formats. The show will return in full force on Monday evening January 5 and will air every Monday evening from 8:00 – 10:00 PM at: www.racetalklive.com

DIRT NATION features in depth interviews with the show’s weekly guests (national and regional). Joining hosts Dave Seay, Brian Tidball and Doc Lehman each week is Ron Fleenor, a close family friend and spokesperson for the Duayne Hommel family, who updates listeners on the continuing progress of Hommel who suffered severe head injuries following a traffic accident on September 23 near Newport, TN.

When the show returns on January 5 special guests will include The North American Racing Association (NARA) founders Spencer Wilson and James Essex as well as Indiana star dirt Late Model driver Scott “The Silver Shark” James. Wilson and Essex head up the NARA DirtCar Series and the Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series.

The following week will be a special “Ladies In Racing” program on Monday January 12 when dirt Late Model star Sherri Heckenast of Illinois guests along with Steel Block Late Model champion Kristin Flory of Ohio and DIRT LATE MODEL Magazine Art Director Susan Lee.
