Saluda, VA --- DIRT NATION, one of the fastest growing and most popular weekly racing radio programs broadcast over the world wide web has announced that the Switchme.net 2004 National Dirt Late Model Championship program that will award the winner a minimum of $1,000 in cash from Switchme.net, a new Rocket Chassis and other prizes will be announced on Saturday January 15 during a live broadcast of DIRT NATION from 3:00 – 5:00 PM EST at the 20th Annual Motorsports 2005 presented by Sunoco that will be held at the Fort Washington (PA) Expo Center. The program was open to any ‘Super’ Late Model, Steel Block Late Model or Limited Late Model driver across the United States that competes on dirt. The Dirt Nation show from Motorsports 2005 is being sponsored by VP Racing Fuels.

“That was another idea that we worked out and we came up with a program that is called the Switchme.net National Dirt Late Model Championship,” stated Richard Gdovic, President of Switchme.net. “Race people support products and we see this as a way to support race teams. This was another attraction that will work for us and for the show and it’ll help a driver out too.”

“Richard wanted to do something extra and once we did title sponsorship, and once you add in the other two deals he is doing with the ‘Race To Riches’ program at Virginia Motor Speedway where a lucky fan, every week, got a chance to win $25,000, which one fan did on our last night of the season” continued Seay. “And he is also a contingency sponsor for all six of our divisions at Virginia Motor Speedway.”

Dirt Late Model teams were asked to submit their results for the 2004 season and a points system was used to determine who the winner will be.

“I think that is exciting for all parties involved,” commented Brian Tidball, co-host of Dirt Nation presented by Switchme.net. “As for Switchme.net it adds that much more exposure. For the racers I think it’s cool because this is based on a similar basis to what the Valvoline Cup was. It’s a good situation for everybody I think.”

“We really appreciate the generosity of not only Richard Gdovic of Switchme.net and certainly Mark Richards and Steve Baker’s unselfish contribution,” said Doc Lehman, co-host of Dirt Nation presented by Switchme.net. “We also have to thank Randy LaJoie, Ron Fleenor’s Race Art Custom Helmet Painting, Seann Anderson’s Panther Motorsports Design, Mike down at Minilatemodels, Chris & Joe Walters at Phase II and Custom Race Art. What we are trying to do through the radio show is give something back to the racing community in our own small way but it’s these huge contributions and backing by people in the sport that really compliments what Switchme.net doing.”

The winner will receive:

SwitchMe.net - $1000.00, Champion’s Jacket, Champion’s Trophy
