Opportunity to Become Race Day Crew Members Still Available

Charlotte, NC (September 3, 2004) – Access Marketing & Communications announced today that it will continue to accept resumes for the “Drive for Diversity” crew member development program through September 30, 2004. “Drive for Diversity” is seeking talented minorities and women to receive training to go "over-the-wall" as part of the pit crew of a NASCAR Series team in 2005.

"Drive for Diversity" will hold its second annual motorsports testing and evaluation combine this fall. Prospective pit crew members will try out before a team of racing professionals and staff from Access, as well as other motorsports organizations.

At the "combine," participants will engage in a variety of activities, including physical fitness evaluation, skills test and oral interviews. From the combine, a pool of participants will be selected for the "Drive for Diversity" program. Candidates who are selected for the program and complete training from 5 OFF 5 ON Race Team Performance will have the opportunity to be placed with a NASCAR Series team for the 2005 season.

"Drive for Diversity" is a long-term initiative aimed at developing a steady pipeline of well-trained and supported minority and female drivers and crew members. In 2004, five drivers competed in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series, while six crew members participated in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Busch Series. Program partners for 2004 include Centrix Financial, Domino's Pizza, Kodak, Husqvarna, Lowe's Home Improvement, MBNA, Miller Brewing Co., the National Guard, Nextel and Sunoco.

Interested crew members should send a letter of application and a resume to: "Drive for Diversity"; Access Marketing & Communications; 401 N. Tryon St., 10th Floor; Charlotte, NC 28202. Resumes can also be e-mailed to crew@drivefordiversity.com.
