Seems like there should be a better way to promote bringing fans into the stands. I like a couple of beers at the track myself, but to promote $1.00 beers could create some serious problems when the sloppy drunks leave the track. I'll play it safe and go to Belle-Clair instead. $1.00 beer night is a bad idea. JMO
 
Ok Im confused...on Tri-Citys website it says Monster Energy Sprint Car Series 410 Winged Sprints, UMP DIRTcar Modifieds, UMP DIRTcar Pro Late Models, UMP DIRTcar Factory Stocks(Street Stocks) and UMP DIRTcar Sport Compacts but now on here its stating UMP Pro CRATE late models...which is it??? I was really looking forward to watching both winged sprint cars AND the Pro late models!

You go to belle-clair .....they will need a fan or 2 there anyways while everyone else is going to where the beer is a dollar ! I cant believe the negativity in people and it seems to be getting worse these days.... I dont drink but I be damned if im gonna complain about anyone who does !
 
I agree mudface....who freakin cares. People will gripe and ***** just to gripe and ***** about something...its just human nature. Though...could you imagine $1 beer night at I-55 when the Outlaws are there?? There'd be 10,000 people there!! lol

pro crate and pro late models are the same thing no supers that being replaced by dune buggies

People want to go to the races and have a good time.
They don't want to have to worry about a drunk running them over at the end of the night.
 
Mudface & Dirtracefan21...I'm not being negative at all. All I'm saying is that it's not a good idea to promote bringing fans into the stands using alchohol as an incentive. As an example, I was sitting across the isle from a father and his two young kids at I-55 a couple of weeks ago. He had his empty beer cans lined up on the seat in front of him. There were six 24 oz. cans at $5.00 a pop. It wouldn't surprise me to see him show up at Tri-City for $1.00 beer night. A few years ago at I-55 some drunk guy climbed most of the way up the fence during a race and almost made it to the top before security dragged him down. Most beer drinkers will probably double what they normally drink at a race when the price is only $1.00. Quite frankly, I don't want those people around me. It would be interesting to know why you support it. JMO

soda $1.00 for the designated driver would be nice... but there is more people that drink beer than soda.. so ill drive some home, man give me a bus i would have it full....lol

Its not that i support it.... Its the fact that there isnt anything i can do to change it so i dont complain or b**** at things beyond my control...and i agree with what you are saying its hard to tolerate a drunk without being drunk but its better for me to get up and move to another seat then to try to change something i cant.

And as far as the drunk that climbed part way up the fence....years ago at I-55 the guy i had drive my race car made it up and over the fence one nite and got into a fight with an official and he was sober so i dont think its the booze as much as being just plain nutz....I think thats why i had him driving my race car.
 
Personally... I dont need beer to enjoy good racing..... Now if its a lousy show, the beer may come in handy...;)
 
I guess it doesn't matter what a racetrack does, some of you will come on here and b!tch about it...

And Jimmy I can't believe this surprises you that people are *****ing, always a bunch of lil crybaby *****es on here, if they don't like it I hope they do stay home. They'll be replaced.
