Folks, for the caliber of show we're going to have here, at just $7, (or $4 if you're 55 or older) you can't beat the price of admission. And the Thursday Test & Tune session from 6-9 PM is absolutely free for spectators. Remember, POWRi has elected to not schedule against this show, so we should have most of the same micro sprint heavy hitters one sees at the Belle-Clair midget/micro shows or the DuQuoin winter shows.

We've already had drivers from as far away as New Jersey and Texas send in their pre-entries.

Finally, for those fans who dislike time trials, don't worry, in lieu of qualifying, we're using the unique "Sprint Bandits" passing points format.

Also, for those fans who dislike sitting thru a littany of support classes at big shows, don't worry. The only class running this weekend is the 600cc outlaw class.

The above link would be the directions if one were to take I-55 to I-72 to the Pittsfield exit.

For those coming from the western side of the STL, take MO-79 or US-61 to US 54. The turnoff for the road leading to the track (Underwood Corner) is on the very west side of town. If coming from this direction, if you pass the sign saying "Welcome to Pittsfield", you've gone to far.

Alternatively, metro east fans may elect to take US 67 north to White Hall, then take IL-106 all the way to Pittsfield. The road to the track (Underwood Corner) will be at the crest of the hill just past the Farm & Home Store.

As of July 2, nine of the Top 12 in POWRi micro sprint point standings have already thrown their hats into the ring and pre-entered for the Heartland Classic. How many of POWRi's finest will make the 20-car A-Main for this historic race?

We'll find out in a week and a half.

We're now just short of 70 pre-entries.:cool: Who will win this big race? Come on out and enjoy what is shaping up to be a gorgeous weekend weatherwise.
