Can some one tell me the approx. value of a 400 GM small block thats around 30 yrs old? I've heard that its a good chance theyre worth something b/c theyre aged. thanks in advance for replies

P.S. we have 2 and 4 bolt mains

I was at a swap meet in cedar rapids iowa and they were going for $125. for bare blocks the 509 casting 2 bolts got up to $200. for a bare block the 511 will also get a good price as for the four bolt blocks they are more a street car block as they crack around the mains when used in a solid mounting chassis such as a dirt mod or latemodel.the street guys will pay a good price just to say they have a 4 bolt.complete motors are $200-$300 just for a junkyard take out.
