BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (Aug. 16, 2003) On a night where 110 racers packed the facility, Brad Ladyman of DeSoto was the big winner of the night at Big River Sand Drags as he drove his buggy to both first place and top eliminator honors in the Vehicle ET class that featured 22 other racers. In the top eliminator race it was Ladyman knocking off Steve Barton of Bonne Terre and his Open 4x4 car.
In Competition Eliminator, Todd Dee of Leadwood was the first place winner, but it was Barton taking second place and top eliminator.
In Stock Buggy, Richard Keller of Farmington was the winner with Frank Shinault of Hillsboro taking second place and top eliminator.
In Super Pro ATV, Jason Stepon of St. Louis was the top eliminator and first place winner while Erica Camden settled for second place.
In Pro ATV, Rick Finney of St. Louis finished first, but it was Tanya Cunningham of Hartford, Ill. taking both second place and top eliminator.
In ATV-1, Allie Glatczak of Potosi finished first with Jason Tasler second.
In Junior ATV, Sarah Lunn was both the top eliminator and first place winner while Whitney Dee of Leadwood settled for second place.
There is no racing at Big River Sand Drags this weekend (Aug. 23), racing will resume with a two-day holiday show on Aug. 30-31. For more information phone (573) 358-5009.
