No you don't, but if you would run there more often it would cost less to get in the pits for one thing.

Because majority of modifieds use methanol for fuel instead of gas which burns a lot more per lap..

Also, many modifieds are running smaller fuel cells now as well.

Well I could c that, but even the late models take a fuel stop at Belleville during the fair 100 lapr

Same reason.. Many locals use methanol and not all have the bigger 30+ gallon fuel cells..

Methanol also weighs less per gallon than gas which affects rear %....I remember when Mods could only use Methanol!!!
