CORONA, CA (August 11, 2010) - The 18th Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 is scheduled for August 19th-21st at the Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, Arkansas. The crown jewel event in dirt late model racing will be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the third consecutive year. The event will pay $40,000 to win and $2,000 to start. Jimmy Owens of Newport, TN is the defending race winner, which was held before one of the largest crowds in the track's history.
Action at the famed speedway will get underway on Thursday Night, August 19th with an open practice session. On Friday Night, August 20th, the evening will feature Red Buck Cigar Time Trials and heat Races for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The weekend will conclude on Saturday Night, August 21st with the running of the B-Mains and the 100-lap $40,000 to win 18th Annual COMP Cams Topless 100.
