There will be an Open Practice at Winchester(TN) Speedway for all classes on Friday evening, November 5 prior to the November 6 "Southern Sizzler". Gates will open at 5:00 PM on Friday with practice commence about 6:00 PM and continue until, whenever - or 11:30 PM, whichever comes fiirst.
Note: Those out of town racers interested in practice and staying overnight at the speedway, will be accomodated. Out of town competitors may utilize the pit area / speedway grounds to stay Friday night for Saturday's races.
Winchester(TN) Speedway's next event will be the second annual Autumn Southern Sizzler on Saturday afternoon, November 6, a 40 lap Super Late Model show paying $3,000 to win and $250 to start. "IMCA Type" Open Wheel Mods will pay $1,000 to win and pay all 24 starters. 2-BBL Late Models will pay, $750 to win, Super Stocks, $400 to win, Outlaw Ponies, $350 to win, Mini Stocks $300 to win and $200 to win for the Pure Stocks.
General LM rules are 2,300 pounds with 8 inch spoiler for Open Engines / Spec engines and track Steel Head engines are allowed a 12" spoiler and 2,200 pound while Spec engines with an Open intake are 2,250 lbs and 12" spoiler. Note: Rear tires only must stick 60 or greater cold. There is a $100 Entry Fee for Late Models and NO entry Fee for any other class. Late model Payout will be:Winner-$3,000 to win Runner-Up:$1,500 3)$1,000 4)$700 5)$600 6)$500 7)$450 8)$400 9)$300 10)$300 11)$300 12)$300 13)$300 14)$300 15)$300 16 through 24)$250
