Big Boy Sports along with the Lincoln Jaycees, The Dog Training Center and Horn Builders, are proud to announce the 1st Annual Big Boy Bash will be held on Saturday August 18th at Lincoln Speedway. This is a $500 to win, $50 to start 20 lap race and there is a possibility it can grow as other sponsors are still in the works. The payout is as follows:

2007 rules
(all cars subject to inspection at any time)

1.Any full bodied passenger car, 1950 or newer. Full frame or Unibody.If used rub rails may be used from fender well to fender well, and be no bigger then 1" x 2". They must must be flush with body and painted to match the car.

2.All frames must have stock OEM rear suspension and match frame with stock componets only. *( no heim end adjustable trailing arms). Such as those ran on a Late Model , Mod , ect.
Floater rear ends are allowed. No quick change device. All rear suspension parts must match make and year of the car.Weight jacks are optional.Front suspension and steering must not be altered, OEM, and be in stock location.Tubular upper control arms are allowed. No fabricated spindles.

3.Engines must be steel block and heads with steel or aluminum intake.Msd ignitions are allowed. The 500 CFM Holley 4412 is the only carburetor allowed.The choke blades can be removed, but the original choke tower must be retained. No other modifications.

4.Minium 6 point roll cage must be used. must have a mininum of 3 door bars. front(not to exceed 1 3/4 od) and rear hoop to frame allowed. Round tubing loop is to be a single bar. May tie frame horns together. Must have a firewall.If in the drivers compartment, battery must be enclosed in a "boat battery box".

5. One racing shock allowed per wheel. *(no aluminum or coil over type shocks allowed)

6.All combusstible materials must be removed(liners, upholstery). All original seat must be removed. All glass and chrome must be removed.

7.Tires and wheels must be 8' max. steel wheels only. No aluminum, plastic, or fiber glass wheels are allowed.
*Tires generally used are Hoosier e-mods any compound and American racer 8" tire.

Maximum tire width is 9" measured by the "footprint".Beadlock allowed on the Right Rear only.

8. All cars must weigh a mininum of 3200 pounds.

9.Fuel cell is require. No alcohol.

10.Triple disk clutches and "direct drive" set up are legal.* powerglides,Berts, Brinns and Falcons are all legal.

11.Approved safety belts and harnesses(must be 3" quick release belts)Must be securely fastened to the frame or cage.Helmet and fire resistant suits are required.
