2.3 mustang engine install

I pulled the 2.3 from my race car and left the transmission and bellhousing in the car. is it possible to put back in without removing either the tranny or bellhousing? just looking for advice on how some of u would do it????

In the end it will be much easier to just remove the transmission from the car now, and reinstall the engine/trans as one assembly.

We did it just fine without removing the tranny. If it is manual change the throw out bearing while you have then apart so you don't have to do it later.
