2005 Schedule for MCS Rough Draft

Since I still am unable to access the MCS website to update it. Thanks to the server company being ran by some kid who's got the server rack in his parents basement and is probably on spring break getting his ponytail trimmed in Steam Boat Springs, CO.

Man a week earlier than I thought. The motors are not done yet. And just starting on new Bodies this week. May only get one latemodel done two I doubt. really would have helped if Mel could have let us know it was that start date.

Did ya find headers yet? I noticed you've been trying to get rid of the 18 deg. ones. I'd like to come look at your shop one of these days, probably wont have time until after the season starts.

Found out today My motor is going to need a little more work than we thought. Pistons, Valve guides, exhaust valves, lifters, Rocker shafts. about 3k more than expected. Hoped only rings, bearings, Rocker shafts and Springs. But thats life in Latemodel racing I guess.

I just Sent PM but I think it failed? Was thinking you may be able to find adaptor plates to convert you 18deg headers to standard heads. You may want to look around It may be cheaper and you will still have the option of switching to the 18deg If you want to move up. Both cars should be ready for their start dates. mine for MCS and Kims for Callaway. Kim will probably try MCS in mid to late April if everthing is comfortable for her. Hers will Dyno a little over 600hp so should be competitive at MCS.
Mine over 800 but we'll tune it down to around 725. Still no bodies mounted and I want to make some suspension upgrades. I'm taking the week of the 21st off to get these done, so we are cutting it close. Just hope we dont run into any problems and end up missing a couple weeks.

sounds good,were just buyin a set and keepin these as backup..our motor is little over 600hp so it should be fine as well,well run callaway friday and mcs on saturdays just to play around for a while,lookin at doin real well at callaway..motor will go in this weekend if it gets together early enough,still waiting on the stuff to get done being balanced then we are ready,took more than we thought to get the power we needed and get the motor ready(new rotating assembly)...good luck and see ya there!!
