Chad Wells Media Services

Knoxville, TN – The 2007 racing campaign was one of success for Knoxville, TN native John Llewellyn who has been dubbed as “The Wildcat”. The 2007 season marked the first time in several years that Llewellyn would travel the country in chase of a national championship only this time it was with the FASTTRAK Crate Racing Series. After the year was said and done, Llewellyn had managed a dual championship after winning both the Mid-Eastern and Southern region championships.

Llewellyn competed in a total of 32 races and accumulated a total of 3 wins, 12 top 5 showings and an outstanding 20 top 10s. While doing so “The Wildcat” would complete all but 9 circuits of those races after starting the race at Wythe Raceway with a broken powerplant. Llewellyn would also bring home 10th in the Grand National Championship and did so after missing the first race at Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama.

Llewellyn would like to thanks all of the sponsors that made this run and championships possible including the following product sponsors: Magnumclean.com, Schaffers Racing Oil, Powermaster, Bilstein, West Haven Speed Equipment, Simpson, UB Machine, Stealth Carburetors, Brinn Transmissions, Outlaw Racing Products. Llewellyn would also like to thank the following: DeWayne’s Tree Service, Roth Residential Dirt Contracting, Fast Cash Plus, Chad Wells Media Services & Photography, A&D Floor Covering and Morgan Cycle & ATV. “Without all of these guys support the 07 season and championships would not have been a possibility and for that I have to thank them” Llwellyn commented.

“The Wildcat” also went on to thank his crew of Collin McClanahan and Justin Thomas, as well as giving special thanks to Clyde & Leona as well as Alan Poyner. While looking forward to the 2008 season, Llewellyn commented, “I would like to run some kind of touring deal with a SLM, but if that is not in the works I will run the FASTTRAK deal again.” For more information and to keep up with the latest on John Llewellyn and Team 90 make sure and point your web browsers toward www.car90thewildcat.com.
