I find it hard to believe that Clayhill is on this schedule, much less a $1,500 to win show. Guess we'll see what happens once we get closer to summer...

It's a shame that these sqeeky tracks are just paying $1000.00 and $1500.00 when these guy's lay it on the line and produce some of the best racing in the world

i agree. i think the summer nationals for the modifieds is great, but the pay stinks. I am pretty sure the modified car count at these races are close to or higher than the late models, and the late model pay goes from 1,000 to at least 5,000 and the mod pay goes 600 to 1,000. It is tough for a guy to justify traveling a few hours to run 10th place at a summit modified race out of 40 cars (which I think is a pretty decent run) and get $100, after paying $35 to get in the pits. jmo
