re:tires---looks like from what I see we can run A-40s all year--unless I missed something---
 
That is how it was planned all along. They just aren't making that tire anymore. So they will become hard to get as the season goes on.
 
that will be good for the COB cheap old boys like me---corse if the new tire starts working better than the old--that idea goes out the window----
 
I would imagine the s in 40 s stands for soft. That would make all old 40 compounds obsolete. Ump/ Hoosier picks our pockets again.
 
we were told its the same rubber as the older LM-30. Just a bit harder than the A but still softer than the H....As i remember the LM30 it needs to stay hot or it glazes over fast!!
 
Did I read that right - as in NO SPOILERS?
Guess they want to maximize the amount of wrecked cars... brilliant o_O
