2016 UMP Pro Mod rules updates for Highland, Federated I55 & Belle-Clair

1. Option to groove front tires until the end of 2016. No grooving in 2017 at all.

2. Roller Rockers allowed with weight allowance

A. 602 legal Crate 2400 lbs
B. Steel block no roller Rockers 2600 lbs
C. Steel block with roller Rockers. 2625 lbs with 25 lbs ahead of motor plate.

3. Coil over Shocks optional on rear end of car only with 5" spring only. Must run UMP approved Shocks only. Must have UMP sticker on Shocks by June 1st, 2016. Shock stickers are available currently thru Voigt Racing and SCP. More places to get stickers coming soon.
 
2625 ---- really ????? re;shock stickers----they should have some one at each track check each car for approved shocks the first 3 weeks in the season and give one set of stickers comp--on the house--FREE --- and will some one please post a list of approved shocks
 
Fireball, when you started racing years ago... did you ever think you would see the day at a racetrack that you have to ask permission or get approval to use a part? racing sure has changed over the years, at least in my opinion anyway... best of luck this year
 
Lol isn't UMP just lovely? Racing starts in 2 weeks and now the rules change. I hope people wise up and support Route 45. USRA doesn't allow each track to run different rules, they're uniform across the board and are put out months in advance! This just amazes me.

Best plan is to simply not run at a track that would adopt such a ridiculous rules package for a class. Run somewhere else and don't give them a dime of your money, I'm not..
 
I believe stickers are $10...

Any shock manufacturers can submit a shock to be approved.. As long as the shock meets the specs and is priced at I believe $150 or less...

Reason for getting your current shocks stickered is to make sure they are the approved models and haven't been altered.
 
So if u buy a brand new set of shocks. Ones they say you can choose from. Do u have to take them to get stickers on tbem? Or just used ones u had previously?

They are supposed to be selling them pre-stickered when bought new I do believe.
