Bloomfield, Iowa (July 8, 2005) - Racing action on the first night of the 2005 Davis County Fair will feature two classes of winged sprint cars on the fast 3/8 mile speedway. This will be the first appearance for the Ideal Ready Mix 360 Sprint Invader Series and night number six for the Mid-America Winged 305 Sprint Cars at the Bloomfield Speedway.
Racing action will kickoff with hot laps at 7:00pm and racing action at 7:30pm pit gate will open at 5:00pm and grandstand will open at 6:00pm. The Sprint Invader series have been seeing over 30 plus cars at each event and the new 305 sprint series have seen eighteen cars in action at the last two shows at the Bloomfield Speedway.
The drivers will be treated to a very well lighted racing surface with the latest technology from the Iowa based company Musco Sports Lighting of Oskaloosa and Muscatine.
