50/50 at I-55

Why did they not pull the number before the Lm feature was over knowing 1/2 the crowd was going to leave?????? I spent the last 10.00 on 50/50 at that track it won't happen again. You all can say what you want to say but it's a bunch of BS!
 
it was kinda odd timing 4 50/50, but they were tryin to hurry the program along. that seemed to be the only "quiet" time to do it.
 
There was a winner. So you didn't win anyhow!

With the late model feature being run before the mod & sportsman semi, it was nearly impossible to call the numbers before the late model feature.

Just gives you something more to complain about!
 
50/50 or not, that was some of the best racing you could ask for. Thanks to all the drivers and crews and Ray for having a super racing surface. It was side by side all night long. What more can you ask for.
 
"Real race fans" stay for all the races. ;) That was one heck of a Sportsman race! :D

Now let me get this straight....you're complaining that they called the 50/50 winner too late?

Let's see, they didn't have an intermission tonight; they ran your beloved Late Models first so they could get that race in before any possible rain so you wouldn't have to complain about not getting the race in; they interrupted the sequences of the races and ran one Modified Semi and two Sportsman Semis after the Late Model Feature, and got all of the racing in before any rain....and you're still complaining?

Did it ever occur to you that they cut the 50/50 short to get it in just after the Late Model Feature? If they had let it go longer, you wouldn't have won any more money than you did tonight, but the winner would have. Whiner!

As I said you all can say what you want,I'm sure I wasn't the only one of the hundreds of people leaving with 50/50 in their pockets. I go to watch Lms and so does half the crowd any where you go period,Debbie just cause your son races sportsman don't make you a real race fan sorry lady,now go whine about that.By the way Debbie look at the time you posted,I wasn't staying till 1:00 some people have to work and I had been up since 5:30 worked till 4 and came straight to the track.So I was ready to go after the Lms,I would have like to stay for the mods but I didn't. I wouldn't have stayed for your beloved sportsman no matter what time it was!Jimmy you love making excuses don't ya??

I agree! :D I had a great time last night, and mother nature was good to us as well! :)

Good post..thanks to all the drivers and teams, AWESOME night of racing. Great battle in almost every race..(that mevert wasn't in) he was haulin. Bittles new car seemed to work pretty good too. Great battle in that late model semi between Dixon and BC. Collins drove the wheels off that thing and i thought he had it locked up but the 5-0 put er up on the top and drove by em. again GREAT night of racin. thanks guys.
 
i tried to be nice in my first post to this thread so here goes. scruffy, are you really that dumb? to start a i don't like the way 50/50 was done thread. thats the dumbest thing i've heard. from my past encounters with you, maybe you should just quit going to the races altogether. you do nothing but complain or in this case, find something to complain about. here's some friendly advice, don't sweat the little stuff. p.s. better not go to the out-house while they are callin the lottery numbers. you may miss them.:eek:
 
winning a 50/50 is like the lottery, your chances of winning are slim. so if you leave after the lates you probably would miss a lot of great racing anyway.

I can't believe the first thread about I-55 last night was about a a damn 50/50 ticket. Unbelievable is all I can say.

The racing at Pevely lastnight was simply amazing, I haven't had that much fun in a long time.

Great job to Ray and crew at I-55 for putting on a tremendous show. For this being my last race to watch for the season, it was a great finally!!! ;)

Oh, I almost forgot, Scruffy you lost, you will always lose, so stay home. :p

Them beloved latemodels are what makes the dirttrack racing exciting Mrs. cummins, it sure in the H... isnt the Sportsman cars. i would rather watch the hornets. as for the 50/50 the folks that left before the drawing thats your fault get over it . That was some very good racing lastnight well worth the $ have a nice day..:)
 
scruffy the track does not run its show according to the hours u have to work.i got up a 3am that morning do u see me complaining.they did the 50/50 right after the lm race so if u would have stayed 5 mins longer u would have heard it. if u dnt like the way it was ran, buy montgormery county and run it the way u want u will find out it is not that easy.u cant make everyone happy.them drivers drove along way to put a good show on.they wanted to be sure to get it in.i would pay 25 again to hear that girl sing the national anthem again she was great.And talker guy u need to be hired on with the woo tour u fit right in GJ.
