Carnesville, GA (Feb-11) The FASTRAK Racing Series in conjunction with Modoc Speedway have announced that City Chevrolet of Charlotte NC will award $500 to the fastest qualifier in FASTRAK Qualifying in advance of the 2nd running of the FASTRAK/Modoc 100 at Modoc Speedway March 5th & 6th. Charlotte NC based City Chevrolet is also the driving force behind what has been the nation’s most competitive weekly racing series in 2008 and 2009, the FASTRAK/City Chevrolet National Weekly Racing Series where in consecutive years, the yearlong championship hunt has gone down to the final weekend before being decided. City Chevrolet is the nation’s leading distributor of the GM 602 & 604 ‘crate’ engines.
