The O’Reilly POWRi Midget Series presented by Lucas Oil makes its annual visit to I-55 Raceway in Pevely, MO for the 6th Annual M&M’s NASCAR Night of Stars – Charity Event for Special Olympics Presented by TOYOTA on Wednesday July 23rd.
Qualifying heat races and a feature event highlight the evening with NASCAR Drivers racing UMP Modifieds. Scheduled to appear include 2 time Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart, Ken Schrader, Ron Hornaday, Brendan Gaughan, & Dennis Setzer, with more drivers expected to be added, wheeling UMP Modifieds.
The POWRi Midgets and 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprints along with the UMP Late Models will be running complete programs during the evening as well.

Thursday night July 24th the POWRi Midgets and Micro Sprints will travel to Morgan County Speedway in Jacksonville, IL. This will be the third attempt by the Speedway officials and POWRi to run this event since the last two have been canceled by Mother Nature. Bill West is very adamant about featuring open wheel racing at his facility. This event along with the Pevely race should be a nice mid-week racing event this summer.
