79 cadillac coupe deville

Looking to trade 79 Cadillac Coupe Deville for a pure stock/ bomber roller. 425 cid engine smokes, car needs brake work (lines are rusted, atleast need to be bled), sounds like it needs new control arm bushings on right side. I drove the car from springfield to belliville illinois two weeks ago. Body is solid overall (couple of rust holes). Interior worn.

I would take $500 for it, i have a title from the person i got it from that i have signed. Is there any way I can avoid transfering it into my name?
