The Pure Street feature found a pair of drivers each looking for their first career feature wins at Auto Tire and Parts Racepark. Danny Hampton and Jeff Beeson fought throughout the fifteen-lap feature event, which was slowed by only one caution.
Hampton took the lead at the drop of the green with Beeson following behind. Beeson worked on the leader for 10 laps before making the pass for the lead on the 11th circuit. The Benton racer held onto the lead for the final four laps of the feature event to take home the win. Hampton settled for second for the third time, in the last three races. Beeson’s win was his first career checkered flag in his six year career
