This is a 96 Neon. 2.0 five speed. Locked differential. New fuel pump. New clutch. New tires. Strut tower braces, front and rear. Aluminum seat with newer belts. New windown net this season. Has always been very well maintained. Was built by Jeff Turner at Baldwin Motorsports for Dr. Michael Jessup, for his friends and pit crew to drive. Was only run a few times. Was run twice this season. This car is very well built. Has never been wrecked. Very dependable. With great potential to run up front. Was at the Fall Nationals. You can see pictures of it on StL's I55 photo gallery. Considering what I gave for this car, you are fixing to get a bargain.

$1300 for the car and spares. Also have an old tandem axle trailer for $400 more.

i drove this car twice this year first time in it was at fredricktown i won my heat race a almost a straightaway ahead of second and got second in the feature but spent the whole feature making mr racer earn the win. the second time in the car was my first time at pevely i didn't have the correct size of tires and the track was slick. missed the feature by one position. look at the results other than the 49 the next pevely regular was tenth or worst so that is not bad for a first attempt at I55. This is a great car.
 
I've got one car left. I'd let it go for $1200. Don't expect this price to hold after the holidays. I can send more pics. Has a truck load of spare parts. This one is a good bargain. Would consider some trades on pickup trucks. Motivated to sell!
 
Ok you got me. It was a typo. It is actually a 2.0. But let me school you on 2.2 engines. Yes Chevy makes one. Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler also have a 2.2. As well as a Toyota 2.2 DOHC, Honda 2.2 Vtech, Opal 2.2 Ecotec, and a Mazda 2.2. As well as several others. If you have any further questions just do a google search :) Thanks, Danny
