A Fallen Fellow Racer

I have been away from stock car racing for a few years now. My family making some changes to our younger generation. I still have two late models that set idle while we began a racing go kart operation for my son. My nephew Daniel Payne which always loved the race track started racing go karts also. He raced 4 cylinder cars at Mt Vernon Raceway several years back with his mom Sharon. Daniel was taken from this earth Wednesday in a tragic coal mining accident in Franklin County Illinois. Daniel and his wife Terra are expecting a baby boy which is due in less than a month. Daniel was 25 years old.

Daniel was always there working on the race cars when he was younger, He absolutely loved to be at the track. He always found the good in people. He found ways to smile when most people would have been angry. Why do things happen the way they do. Sometimes life just don't seem fair. RIP Daniel Payne your racing family will miss you!!!!!!!
