What an entertaining night of racing at I55.
1.Only $10 to get in to see 35 late models and 47 modifieds as well as 2 other classes.
2.Very, very fast track.
3. Lots of top local talent and some that traveled a distance to race.
4. Very competitive racing, several very close finishes.
5. A little 'boys will be boys' tempers flaring. Entertaining, but not what you want to see.
6. Very professional ran show. Cars were lined up and racing very soon after the last race was completed. Wrecks were cleared as quickly and safely as possible.
7. Racing for a good cause.
Don O' Neal was awesome. His power and traction out of the corners was incredible. #7 had quite a run in the modifieds. The little #21 in the 4 cylinder class was way faster than the other cars.
Haven't seen a car make a U turn to intentionally hit another car right in front of everyone and still return to the racetrack.
Not sure why the guy that threw his steering wheel at another car was so mad.
