Forget the outlaws......just gimme the same group of cars that attended i-55 speedway last weekend in all the classes..............it dont get no better then that !

Well thats where I was getting at mudface...if the racing is half as good at the upcoming Outlaw race as it was last saturday, based on the drivers list we are getting so far, we are in for one big season ending treat!!

Doug Drown possibly? i know he ran the summer nationals at highland.

Drown has 2 races in Ohio for the weekend of the 16th and 17th. I hope a guy like Brady Smith decides to come down...I know many of people around here has never seen Brady run and Im telling you he is one of the best drivers in the country!

What are the support classes? The schedule just says: TBA. I am not trying to start anything I just want to know.

Tri City Speedway

Support Classes for Tri-City (Mod/Crate/St.Stocks) Discount Pit Passes (every class but late models)
pit passes are $25 for the driver and 3 crew members (all must be present when car enters the gate).

Thank you,
Kevin Gundaker

The discounted pit pass idea is GREAT. I've often wondered why tracks haven't done it before...but I understand it takes support classes to raise the money to pay the big dogs. Can't wait for these 2 shows.

Eckert is the points leader for the WoO and he is missing a big primary sponsor which is even more impressive that he is leading the points championship over Kid Rocket and others. I dont think the WoO Late Models are quite as talented overall as the Lucas Oil boys but I guarantee you one thing....guys like Eckert, Richards, T-Mac, Clanton, and Lanigan will put on a show. I think guys like Moyer, Babb, and Sheppard among others with have an advantage, especially at Pevely because they run there so often and theyve got the track down pat. Moyer has been coming to I-55 for what...20 years??

I-55 implemented the pit pass prices when the outlaws came to town - agree great for the weekly racer :) Glad to see other tracks following their example !

Thanks dirtgirl, didn't know I-55 implemented it first.

and as for Moyer (and I'm a huge Moyer fan), I've seen him look awful and seen him look bad fast at Pevely...even if he has been going there for 20 years. I'll never forget the night Brandon Sheppard lapped all the way up to 6 and was about to lap Billy Moyer at the checkered flag.

I was there that night as well racingfan and I'll agree with you...I have NEVER seen anybody dominate a race like that at Pevely...NEVER!! Do I think it mightve been a freak thing...yes. But I will tell you Brandon Sheppard is one of the young up and coming drivers in the country and this kid is on the fasttrac to stardom. He is good everywhere he goes and thats what it takes to be successful in this sport. Just ask guys like Moyer and Babb and others who have been on top for years....I guarantee you they will say BS is bound for big things! At first I thought it mightve been a fluke...just guessed lucky on the setup, maybe he cheated that night...but he proved that theory wrong with his strong run in The Hell Tour...that kid seemed like he ran Top 3 every night!
