A Question For All..........

 I mean this in a nice way but you gotta lay off the multis! They put on an awesome show every week! And without making a big stink in here, If a class must go it should be one of the beaters/bangers/bombers classes! Three features of these cars is way to much! So unload the smallest class and be done with it. Leave the multis alone, They do just fine!
ok i was just thinking or moreless taking the multi's for example, lol if they didn't have purestreets where would every 1 start out? i can't say ne thing bout multis, good car count, but i don't know any of them so... it just ain't my thang GOOD DAY.

I myself think the track is a little too big for the multi's but they do put on a good show, and they bring so many cars with them the track would be stupid to get rid of them. Sprints and Latemodels is a great idea for any track, but the payout would have to be alot more to run both. I know i haven't been down there that much, but when i have been there ive noticed the crowd just isn't as big as it used to be. I remember coming to the track before and there were so many people in the stands you had people standing because there wasn't a seat available. I don't know why the crowd isn't like it used to be but i think that is also a big factor as well.

You have to give the multi racers and their fans their dues. There have been a couple of weeks where the count was down but it was due to good reasons... I think the multis are a great part of the racing program at SFCR...

They are absolutely a great part of the racing program. If not for them and the cautions they throw out getting in line, i don't know when i'd find time to go to the bathroom without missing something i want to see :D

See, there's a nice way to say everything!!! LOL!!

actuly if they drop the sportsmen don't add another class this would allow for special groups to race example

rams
wannabes
vintage
mini mods
dwarf cars

I hate to see a class get dropped lots of guys will have to move up or down a class lots of work ..
another note
there needs to be a limit on class's every year it seems like each class wants to add something.. when they allowed vortec heads in purestreet they hurt the budget racer now to be competitive you need to spend $1000 for head to run up front (cost of heads and prep intake ect ect.) that clas use to be a wannabe class when it started go to the junk yard buy a old monte cage it and run it .. with stock tire and such... the good ol day sometimes I think we need to go back to our roots to find out how done in the old days:):)

ok guys let's quit about it all...hell what happen-happens!!! it's already done with the sportsman..just remember we will all miss them right? AMEN..ok let's go racing

The sad thing about the pure street class is that after about 5-7 years they will be sportsmans and will vanish just like us. The biggest reason the sportsman are gone is just go look at the payout for sportsman vs pure streets. I am not cutting the track down but just making a point that the sportsman/hobbystock pay is less now than what is was in 1990. We used to be able to win the heat $20,win the dash $40, and win the feature $250 for a total of $310 a nite. Payout in all classes have not hardly changed but the price of parts, admission, fuel, insurance, and I won't go on but you get the point. We will be out next year with a pure street, only as a car owner in 2006......
