If-If-If-If-----it don't rain us out again, everyone is in for a treat this fri..
Just seen Joe's new car, the barracuda. It looks real-real good and sounds great. Slant 6 with headers. Your going to love this car.
Two more new cars coming, not sure when. Next year for sure and probably later this year. Both 64 chevelle's--One will be Mike Null, the race car builder, he will drive this car. Also Dave jr. just bought one. Needs completed, but looks good. Could be later this year.
Seems to be a lot of new cars either here or coming. Also seems to be a crash fest last couple of races, hope that stops.

Also the rules seem to have been thrown out the window, don't understand that, perhaps I missed the memo.

Hope to see you all Friday---If-If-If

New cars...sounds great!

No rain, sounds great!

Crashfests? Nah,....I think both are easily understood. Pevely is always fast but was also really slick in spots! Precisely where Carrie spun was nasty slick if you were on skinny tires. I didn't make Belleville, but it looked like a normal chain reaction on the tight lil' bullring. At any rate we were fortunate that the damage wasn't extensive, and that there wasn't any ill will behind either incident. Just racing deals...

What rules seem to be thrown out? Inquiring minds need to know....!

rules

Frames and chassis---rule #1
Any stock or hand made frame of at least 2x4 steel. Frames must extend from the front of the wheels to the rear of the body.
More than 1 car don't meet this rule but I don't see this as a big deal. Perhaps the rule should be changed.
Motors and transmissions---rule # 3
Any american made transmission
I do see this as a big deal but after rereading the rules I guess I'm wrong, I'm sure the Bert, Bren type transmissions are american made. Being so I would have to say they are legal.
Somehow I don't think this was considered when the rules were established.
Crash fest??I would guess that things have been worked out by now but the story from people who were there---there were some hard feelings after B-ville

Hate to hear that, Dave. I've only talked briefly with Tim, but that was mainly about the rainout info for DRR on Friday.

Ohsomthin, what kind of pics?

Wish I had some I could post for you but I don't, sorry. I'm sure Dave and/or Val will be taking some pictures for the web site.
The great diversity of cars in this class is one of the things that makes it so very appealing, the "cuda" is a great addition.

Yeah, someone will get some pics of it Friday. We'll post some on here sometime over the weekend.
